I am vying for the Woman Representative seat, in Nairobi County on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket (Azimio la Umoja movement). I am currently serving as a nominated Senator and similarly as the Deputy Minority Whip in the Senate, of the Republic of Kenya.

Over the years, I have accumulated valuable experience in governance and public service, having served as an elected Member of the County Assembly of Nairobi, Mountain-view ward between2013-2017. I am also the Treasurer for Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association. It has been an enriching experience working with groups advocating for the welfare of people with disability and women groups.

My experiences have enriched my knowledge and I’m able to negotiate for the unity of purpose with respect to the interests and rights of a group or several groups of people and lead to one direction in order to achieve the intended purpose.”
