Democracy Trust Fund equips women leaders and aspirants with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to participate effectively in electoral processes and democratic leadership. Through its flagship Running to Win Training Model, DTF provides practical campaign and political education covering electoral processes, party nominations, candidate registration, campaign strategy, and effective campaign conduct. Guided by its Running to Win: Women’s Pathway to a Successful Training Manual and Facilitator’s Guide, DTF has trained over 5,000 women through its monthly women aspirants’ trainings and strengthened local capacity through a Training of Trainers (ToT) approach.

DTF works with a network of County Gender Champions drawn from the 47 counties in Kenya.
