I boast of belonging to three constituencies, Thika by birth and residence, Gatundu South by marriage, and Gatundu North my rural home and it gives me great pride in saying am just from Kiambu… and I seek to be their Woman Representative.
I ran for Woman Rep’ Kiambu county 2017 Jubilee nominations and lost, moved to KANU in the same year. I’m the current KANU Women Congress National Secretary.
I run several CBOs and a CEO/founder for Right @home Rehabilitation center, TWAADA, Twazidi HIV/Aids, and the Madam Chania Sauti Mashinani. I sit in the technical working group for SGBV representing CSOs (civil society organizations) in Kiambu county. I belong to several school boards, several humanitarian and philanthropy organizations e.g., red cross, Lions, and Rotary.
My other roles include; Secretary to the County Commissioner on counter-terrorism extremism CVE (Kiambu CEF) this is the fight against radicalization and terrorism. Thika Level 5 hospital board and chair for Quality of care at the board.
My Educational background
My PhD in Clinical Psychology is halfway, it stalled in 2012 due to politics.
My political agenda is to Empower families & the community to quality life and be an answer & solution to them in all aspects of life.
I would like to see Kenyan women actualized in life from different perspectives, emotionally socially, and politically through a bottom-up approach that we the women tribe can activate to have through our political networks (KANU) and through our neck up approach of building capacities.
