Jacqueline Koni was born and brought up in Makindu, Makueni County, Kenya. She attended Makindu Primary School and later Makindu Secondary School.
She holds a Master’s in Business Administration with specialization in Entrepreneurship from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialization in Library and Information Science and Kiswahili from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya.
Jacqueline participated in Ms. President Reality TV Show 2019, highlighting women with strong leadership skills in the country, and was crowned Ms. President Makueni County
She was Vice-Chairman Makueni County Public Service Board and Chairperson Human Resource Planning and Discipline Committee for 6 years from 2013 to 2019.
Jacqueline’s Vision for Kibwezi West is “Poverty alleviation and restoration of human dignity”
She is passionate about improving the living standards of the people of Kibwezi West and has been supporting Youth and Women groups in entrepreneurial ventures through training & provision of seed Capital and linking them to financiers.
