I am Dr. Juliet Kimemia and positioning myself to be the next Governor of Kiambu County

I believe I possess the requisite skills, attitude, and knowledge necessary to run a county Government. I have served as Minister for Roads, Transport & public works and also in the Trade, Industrialization Tourism and Cooperatives Docket in the Kiambu County Government. At the Council of Governors, I served as the Chairperson Infrastructure CECM Caucus that brings together Infrastructure CECs from the 47 Counties.

I am a former lecturer of Entrepreneurship at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and also the Organizing Secretary KANU party in Kiambu County.

My political agenda

I am passionate about promoting people-centered development in all sectors, modeled on closely linked value chains that sustainably link the production to markets.

I’m Passionate about inclusivity and respect for rule of law particularly ensuring that 30% of procurement is reserved for women, youth & people living with disability, allocated and paid for. This procedure is ignored by many leaders in the current county and national Government’s procurement practices.

Strengthening institutions and mainstreaming programs to the National development plans is the key strategy for effective & efficient service delivery and this is my pledge to the people of Kiambu County.
