I seek to be the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Kabete Ward, Kiambu County a cherished place where I have grown and lived my entire life.
A Co-Founder of Proven Training & Consultancy Solutions Ltd and a Founder of We Believe Community Based Organisation that works towards creating a stronger community by investing in Children, Women & Young People who make up 75% of our population. Through the organizations, we have been visiting schools mentoring the students, and providing pads for girls and socks for boys. For the youth, we have had sports and career counseling and SRHR training. In this Covid 19 pandemic, we have also injected capital for women whose businesses went down. We have recently been able to get a library with a resource center for one of the schools.
Work Experience: I am a Gender Specialist & Community Development expert and work in the areas of Gender, Education, Sustainability, and Governance. With over 10 years of experience in training, project planning and administration, and Resource Mobilization, I seek to bring lasting change to children, youth, women, and men in the community.
Educational Background
I am also an alumnus of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) and a Child Online Protection Professional.
I believe that a better Kabete Ward will be achieved by a Leadership that is Visionary, Accountable, Transparent, and with a Proven Track Record, with a New Direction; New Vision; New Initiative, and New Hope, this is what I hope to bring on board.
We want to have monthly meetings where different professionals such as lawyers, financial advisors can be coming and empowering the community with information towards the shared vision. At the same, we shall create a committee with representatives from every village to ensure the right projects are prioritized.
